She studied voice in Frankfurt and Weimar and during this time was engaged at the Frankfurt Volkstheater. This was followed by participation in the European premiere of the opera Washington Square (Th. Pasatieri) at the Herrnsheim Palace Festival. Since then, classical stage roles such as Leonore in Fidelio, Elvira in Don Giovanni, and 20th- and 21st-century music featuring many world premieres have formed the focal point of her repertoire. For this she received scholarships from Villa Musica Mainz and the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme. She was a finalist in the Wagner/Verdi Cantiere Lirico competition in Padova.

Solo concert engagements have taken her to Bonn (Beethovenfest), Bregenz (Kunsthaus), Amsterdam (Orgelpark), Lugano (Studio Foce), Salvador (Cathedral), Lahore (Rafi Peer Festival), Snape Maltings, Prague (Klementinum), Ostrava (Janáček Festival), and Padua (Sala Carmeli), as documented in radio and television productions by Hessischer Rundfunk, Westdeutscher Rundfunk and Südwestdeutscher Rundfunk.

Your interest in the connections between body and voice is demonstrated by training in functional voice pedagogy, craniosacral biodynamics and Feldenkrais.

Significant for my teaching is …
… the intention to differentiate the function through repeated attention in order to uncover musical authenticity and enable access to stylistic diversity.
