David Lipp was born in Wels in 1979.
He studied Multimedia Art at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences and graduated with a diploma in 2004, followed by a semester at the ELAK (MDW) in Vienna.
He played in various bands, produces music and audio plays, and loves unusual and challenging soundscapes.
Since 2009, he has worked regularly as a musician and sound designer with theatre directors on theatre productions.
He has been working at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna since 2010.
His work for the theatre took him to Austria, Belgium, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Lithuania, Palestine, Switzerland and Hungary.
He has a long-standing collaboration with the Modular Synthesizer Ensemble.
