Ernest Allan Hausmann

Ernest Allan Hausmann, born in Hamburg, began his theatre career there in 1989 at the Thalia Theater. This was followed by engagements at the Schauspielhaus Köln, Schauspiel Düsseldorf, Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Berliner Ensemble, Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Schauspielhaus Zürich. At the Münchner Kammerspiele he took part in the production MITTELREICH, for which he was awarded the International Theatre Prize. Alongside his work in the theatre, he has appeared in various film and TV productions. Since the 2022/23 season, Ernest Allan Hausmann has been a member of the Burgtheater ensemble.
