Born in Vienna in 1993, Fabian Janicek discovered his passion for movement at a very early age. He began with floor and apparatus gymnastics, which he practiced competitively until the age of 18 and where he also gained his first experience as a coach. Alongside this, he participated in various sports, such as handball, climbing and judo.

At the age of 17 he came across parkour and freerunning, which has been his sporting focus to this day. But slacklining, breakdancing and juggling are also among his activities. His teaching subject „Acrobatics“ is a mixture of all these things.

Significant for my teaching is …
… the fun and joy the participants experience in trying out new movements from various sports. These movements are not only a physical challenge, but often require mental concentration as well. A prerequisite for participating in this elective is curiosity about acrobatic movement forms and the intention to achieve better body control.
