Emanuel Fellmer was born in Berlin in 1986. Following a period abroad in Peru, where he made theatre with young people, he studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. Guest contracts have taken him to the Burgtheater, the Wiener Festwochen, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and various regional theatres, including as Franz Moor in Schiller's „The Robbers“ (directed by Matthias Hartmann). He has collaborated with „Jederedermann“ director Michael Sturminger on several occasions, most recently at the Salzburg Festival. He made his debut as an author with the solo piece „Raskolnikov im Ostrogg“.

Emanuel Fellmer also teaches; most recently, alongside Senior Artist Valentin Hitz from the Film Academy Vienna, he developed a „dialogue project“ for film and acting students. At the Max Reinhardt Seminar he taught as an assistant for the subject of „character portrayal and ensemble work“. He acts in films and television for Sky and Netflix, among others, working with directors such as Stefan Ruzowitzky, Simon Verhoeven, Christopher Schier and Friederike Jehn.
